UGL Services, Fuels & Energy East are seeking applications from qualified Electricians for upcoming casual opportunities on a live LNG facility. These positions will join a well-established Electrical Maintenance team on a recently extended contract working a 9-day fortnight. Based on Curtis Island, off the coast of Gladstone local applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
About the role
· Promote and contribute to the prevention of hazards, improvements, and environmental awareness in the workplace
· Identify risks and maintain awareness amongst employees and process conditions in a Major Hazardous Facility
· Responsible for working in a safe, productive, and environmentally responsible manner always
· Working at heights from elevated work platform required
About you
· QLD Electrical Licence
· Current CPR / LVR
· Construction Induction
· High Risk Work Licence – WP - required
· Work at Heights Certification - required
· Ability to read, interpret and understand permits, risk assessments and work instructions
· High level of attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills
· Great time management skills
· The ability to work within a team and unsupervised
