We are looking for Trades People and Trade Assistants after a change.
Based at our workshop in Warners Bay NSW 2282.
MCS manufactures a range of Electrical Switchboards, Control Panels and other electrical equipment.
- 38-hour work week with half day Friday.
- Scheduled rostered Day's off.
- A person who can build switchboards or wants to learn.
- The switchboards are built to Australian Standards AS3000 and AS61439.
- We offer good conditions permanent position hours and wages.
- The position does offer some overtime.
- Other trades are welcome to apply.
And:
- Undertake the Assembly / Fit Out and wiring of electrical equipment in switchboards.
- Read or learn to read - electrical, mechanical or control drawings.
- Be hands on in building copper busbar systems.
- Cut and fold plastic or steel to make or modify as required.
- Convert the assembly into a finished product.
- Work under general supervision, with different people or genders.
- Assists and maintains a clean and safe workspace for all.
- Perform general workshop duties - tool tagging, equipment maintenance.
And:
- Understand work and be able to complete work with deadlines - with a focus on the customers' requirements,
- A practical common-sense approach, look for solutions to problems and be adaptable.
- It is important to have some electrical or mechanical aptitude.
- Trade course background, would be well received.
- Be reliable and punctual.
- You must have the right to live and work in this location to apply for this job.
