About the Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking experienced Electrician/Data Cabling Supervisors for our Client Services team. You will be responsible for supervising 4-6 team members on fit out projects. These projects will span from 2 weeks to 6 months at a time, across multiple client businesses, these can include government, education & corporate. You will be responsible for all aspects of WH&S and quality requirements on site and regular reporting to the project manager.
You will predominately be based on site, with one of our warehouses and the Client Services team being based from our Alexandria Office.
Tasks and key responsibilities:
- Lead a crew of 4-6 Client Services team members.
- Training of new and existing team members.
- Following all WH&S requirements.
- Quality assurance of works being completed.
- Regular updates and reporting to Project Manager.
- Onsite client communication.
- Experience in installation, terminate and test structured cabling-CAT 6A.
- Trouble shooting, adjusting, and repairing faults in equipment/cables.
- Excellent understanding of networks.
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in related communications/cabling/electrical
- Experience leading a team of 1-4 team members.
- Current driver's license and white card.
- Electrical A grade qualifications with Comms experience will be highly regarded.
- ACMA Open Cable Registration (Optic fibre and structured cabling endorsements) is essential.
- Telecommunications CERT III or equivalent trade experience.
- Fit-Out & Construction, working on schools experience (desirable)
- Self-motivated, with excellent time management skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to establish great connections
- Have a good work ethic and positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
