The mine site
Located in central NSW, this large UG hard rock mine supports the careers of up to 700 people in the local vicinity. The electrical division at site offers; -
- 7:7 roster - days/ nights
- The chance to upskill on modern UG mining machinery
- Work on a wide range of equipment UG and in the fixed plant

The role
Reporting into the electrical supervisor on your crew you will be responsible for the following duties. Enjoy the opportunity to upskill and work in any of the following divisions:-
- UG Shift Electrical - 1000v reticulation, drill rig servicing and breakdowns, jumbo box installs, maintenance on fans pumps and vents, stat check and audits
- Fixed Plant Electrical - fixed plant servicing, installs and breakdowns, instrumentation, HV switching, stat checks and audits
- Power Supply - HV switching, substations, 11kv
Your skills and experience
Your biggest asset for this business (outside of trade certificate) will be your attitude towards work and desire to forward yourself in the mining sector … the rest they can train.
- Trade qualification (Electrical)
- Residentially based in central NSW, or keen to relocate to central NSW
- Cert IV in Instrumentation (highly regarded, not essential)
- HV switching ticket (highly regarded, not essential)
- Manual drivers license
