Position Overview: We are looking for a talented Electrician who specializes in control wiring to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control systems, as well as performing control wiring for various industrial equipment. This role will involve some interstate travel, and the ability to work independently is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems according to specifications and codes.
- Perform control wiring for industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct inspections and testing of control systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to optimise control system performance.
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Electrician, with a focus on control wiring.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for electrical work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel interstate for assignments as required.
- PLC programming skills are an advantage but not crucial; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
