Roster: 8 DAYS 6 OFF 7 NIGHTs 7 OFF Port Hedland Residential
Fortescue is seeking an Experienced Electrician to join our team at Hedland Operations. This role is a permanent full-time Residential role. You will provide safe, effective and timely electrical maintenance to our fixed plant equipment and ancillaries to optimise plant operational capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising notifications and executing work orders (SAP / Fiori)
- Fault finding on Fixed Plant
- Responding to breakdowns on fixed plant
- Proven High voltage switching experience
- Belt weigher calibration
- Perform parameter backups on ABB, Siemens and WEG drives
- Instrumentation calibration and commissioning
- Preventative and opportune maintenance on Fixed Plant
- Shutdown and modular maintenance on fixed plant
- Creation and modifications to documents including Work Instructions, Routine Checklists, and Electrical Schematic's
- Electrical installation work and Electrical logbook entries
- Electrical statutory testing and inspections
- Use of computer-based systems; S4Hannah, Microsoft Teams, Success factors, Fiori, BMS, PIMs, PDF Pro, Trello, Microsoft office programs etc.
- High Voltage switching
- UPS Maintenance
- Low Voltage motor testing and inspections
- Isolations and Permitting
- Scoping continuous safety and business improvement opportunities
- Electrical trade qualification
- Current Energy Safety WA issued electrician's licence
- High voltage switching operator ticket
- Experience as electrical trades person in an iron ore operation or similar continuous operating plant environment
- Connect and diagnose faults on Profibus, Profinet and device net field bus systems
- Experience in PLC systems field hardware and wiring
- Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Variable Speed Drives
- Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems
- Experience in computer-based maintenance systems
- Understanding of electrical licensing regulation 55
- Leadership qualities and experience
- Experience fault finding and recovering Train Unloaders and balance machines
