The current mine site locations are in the Northeastern Goldfields of WA, with multiple mining operations both open pit and underground. The Opportunity
Reporting to the Electrical Leading Hand, you will be a key member of our Electrical team at our Rosemont (Duketon South) operations. You will be responsible for carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance to plant and equipment in our process plant.
This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster (ex Perth).
About the Role
- Inspecting work areas and plant for hazards, damage and defects;
- Examining drawings, manuals or specifications to determine work methods, sequence of activities or manufacture of components;
- Diagnosing faults or breakdowns;
- Estimating time and material required to complete jobs;
- Raising orders for materials;
- Undertaking repairs or component charges out as required;
- Cleaning and maintenance of tools and work areas;
- Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment; and
- Training of other personnel or apprentices (if required).
About You
- Electrical trade qualification;
- 2 + years’ experience within a processing plant in a mining environment;
- WA C class drivers’ licence;
- HV Switching;
- Air conditioning installation;
- Fault finding experience; and
- PLC experience and Instrumentation experience is desirable.
