Boundary Electrical & Instrumentation (BEI) is an experienced contracting company located in Townsville, North Queensland. We work in the Electrical industry and provide construction, installation, maintenance, and repair throughout the many facets of the trade. This includes industrial, mining, water and wastewater management, as well as domestic and commercial applications.
Qualifications & experience
- Relevant Electrical Trade Certificate with post trade experience
- Queensland Electrical Fitter/Mechanic licence issued by the Queensland Electrical Safety Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and independently
- White Card
- Current Drivers Licence
- Experience in PLC/HMI fault finding (desirable)
- Instrumentation experience / qualification (desirable)
- Current CPR / LVR Certificate
Tasks & responsibilities
- Carrying out preventative and statutory maintenance tasks
- Responding to breakdowns
- Completing new installations
- Small and large scale projects throughout North Queensland
- Troubleshoot a wide variety of electrical systems
- Interpret various electrical drawings
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical / D&A tests
