As an Industrial Electrician within the maintenance department, your role will be critically important in supporting the production team, within a continuous manufacturing environment, through preventive maintenance and breakdown support. Your contribution will enable improved machine safety, quality, reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Isolating equipment and performing corrective maintenance on the machines
Inspecting equipment, identifying faults and taking necessary actions to repair
PLC fault finding and PLC programming, utilising systems like Siemens S7, TIA and SCADA
Responding to and resolving machine breakdowns with a sense of urgency
Planning and coordinating shutdowns for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
Essential Criteria
- Trade qualification in Electrotechnology
- Unrestricted Electrical Licence
- Proven experience in an industrial, manufacturing or similar environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication
- Driver licence and reliable transport
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
Hours of Work: 114-hour roster spread over a 3-week cycle, 12-hour shifts Monday to Thursday.
Location: Erskine Park, NSW, 2759
Rates: $50.00 p/h for 7.6 hours, $75.00 p/h for the next 3 hours and $100.00 p\h thereafter.
This position will be causal fulltime with a view to permanency after your probationary period based on your performance. This position offers excellent work/life balance with no Friday or weekend work while still getting daily, regular overtime.
