Our client is a global leader in the manufacture and maintenance of systems for rail and commercial vehicles with local offices and facilities all over Australia. Their facility at Welshpool, WA focuses on the manufacture, overhaul, and repair of various railway equipment (HVAC, Brakes, Doors etc.).
The Role
This role is primarily responsible for the assembly, wiring, configuration, testing and commissioning of large Rail / Rolling Stock HVAC units / equipment with an electrical focus.
The role is a Monday to Friday day shift position with opportunities for overtime on the weekend based on your preferences.
This job would suit
- Trade qualified A Grade Electrician, Technician or equivalent. Note: we may consider professionals with other qualifications (e.g. Electrical Fitter, Diploma, Engineering Degree)
- Experience working with the manufacture, maintenance, repair, testing, and/or commissioning of equipment/systems with an electrical focus
- Experience in rail or other heavy industries would be beneficial (Rail, Defence, Automotive, Aviation, Maritime, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Mining, Utilities etc.).
