Electrician

Due to an increased current work load we now require a fully qualified and licensed Electrician to join our team the contract is permanent

Due to the small nature of the company and the diverse nature of our work, we are seeking an enthusiastic Electrician with the ability to perform other construction activities to a high standard; the role will involve installation of all works associated with the civil and electrical infrastructure for mobile base stations, the work will sometimes be autonomous and sometimes with other staff. The role will require meeting all client safety and quality procedures

Duties & responsibilities:

• Electrical work including stand-alone solar installations
• Basic control wiring
• Report to the GM or senior project manager
• Assist with fitting structural steel footings, mounts, and steel work for jobs on roof top sites
• Excavation and installation of consumer mains and submains
• Switchboard swap outs and upgrades
• Cable ladder mounting
• Direct non-electrical resources for both remote and local projects
• Installation of lightning protection equipment
• Assisting in non-electrical work tasks (civil) 

Experience & attributes:

• Minimum of 5 years’ electrical experience, preferably within civil works or telco industries
• Ability to operate a digger to assist in construction work is advantageous
• Service Apparatus Connection Scheme (SACS) accreditation, or willingness to complete
• Ability to complete projects within time constraints and to client standards
• Familiarity with scheduling and budgets
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with other tradespeople
• Strong focus on OH&S 
• Available for occasional away work
• Full Australian working rights and current residence
