You will have exceptional problem-solving skills and able to take on new challenges that relies heavily on your ability to test and fault find.

You are self-motivated and take ownership in all aspects of your role, from liaising with clients, ordering materials, following up suppliers, and actively on-selling and seeking out new works and clients. 

You love to teach apprentices and have a desire to bring out their potential in all that they do.

You are a licensed Electrician with a multi-skilled background with demonstrated exposure and experience in one or more of the following fields -

• Commercial Installations and Maintenance
• Industrial Installations and Maintenance
• Air-conditioning
• PLC & Control Systems
• Commercial Automation Control
• Audio/Visual
• Data & Communication
• Local Government / Schools

Duties for the role;

• Preventative Testing Maintenance Works- RCD's, Emergency Lighting, Emergency Stops, Full Building and Switchboard Audits.
• Reactive Maintenance- Fault finding, Breakdowns, Repairs.
• Installing & Maintaining Switchboards, Mains Cabling, Meter Boards.
• Audio/Visual & Communication Installations, Upgrades & Repairs.
• Ordering of Materials For Jobs.
• Minor Scoping for Quoted Works.
• Completing Job Notes & Forms Via iPad or Phone, Ready For Admin To Accurately Invoice Works.
• Keep Up To Date With Latest Electrical Safety Guidelines, Standards and Legislation.
• Be Available for 'On-Call' on the Duty Roster.
• Possess Strong Safety Awareness.
• Understanding of Building and Maintenance Processes.
• A sound understanding of electrical maintenance and statutory requirements.
• Excellent Communication Skills with the Ability to Liaise with Schedulers, Supervisors and Tenants.

To be considered you must have;

• Valid WA Unrestricted Electrical License
• Valid WA Driver's License (manual)
• White Card / Blue Card
• Open Cablers License
• Working at Heights
• EWP

The following will be considered an advantage;

• First Aid / CPR
• Confined Spaces
• Split System License
• Nominees
• Experience with SimPRO or Similar Systems
• 5 Years Experience in a Range of Commercial and Government Environments
