The Opportunity
We are currently building our dedicated on site Maintenance team and looking for a reliable, skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team at our Trafalgar plant. This position comes with the opportunity to pursue stable and rewarding employment and regular hours, within a safe and supportive environment.

The role is 5 days per week - generally running from 7am to 4pm. Occasional weekend work required, and the successful person will be willing and able to attend the plant for minimal breakdowns after hours.
You'll be OHS and production driven - recognising that this role has a big impact on our operations and our people's safety. You'll be dedicated to good quality and thorough work, done in an efficient manner.
Requirements
- Able to work in a team environment and alone, equally well
- Able and willing to do occasional weekend work and minimal call outs
- Dedicated to OHS and safety above all else - Follow all OH&S procedures and policies
- Driven and seeking a stable, reliable and consistent type of work for the long term
- Physically fit, disciplined, agile and a team player within a dynamic environment;
- Industrial wiring and cable tray erecting skills desirable
- Good diagnostic skills
- Exposure to variable speed drives
- Ability to read PLC programs desirable
- Exposure to food processing machinery desirable
- Willing to be on call and attend minimal after hour breakdowns
- Willing to work some weekends
- Willing to undergo further training or attain appropriate qualification to match your experience
- Takes pride in finished job presentation.
- Operation of equipment and machinery;
- Knowledge of Food Safety and Hygiene requirements will highly valued;
- Possess working rights in Australia
- Drivers License Essential
- Forklift and EWP license desirable
