The position:
Based in Kalgoorlie, you will be required to carry out mining maintenance for local sites.
The ideal candidates will gain experience in the manufacture, installation and preventative maintenance of all underground electrical infrastructure including switchboards, HV supply cables, Jumbo maintenance, Jumbo trailing cables, ventilation systems, flygt pumps and underground lighting systems.
Experience in mining and maintenance is desirable but not essential.
To be suitable for this position you require the following:
- A current WA Electrical Workers License - essential
- Current Drivers License - essential
- Current Police Clearance - essential - within 3 months
- Working at heights and elevated work platform is desirable
- LV Rescue & CPR certificate is desirable
- Sound fault finding and diagnostic skills
You will be required to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen.
