As Electrification Systems Business Development Leader, you will own and drive the competitive sales development strategy across Power Conversion Electrification portfolio within key targeted Industrial, Commercial and Utilities segments in the Asia market. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that is competitive and likes a challenge, as you will have an opportunity to develop new revenue streams, increase market share and visibility while driving key partnership frame agreements as required for the delivery of turnkey complex systems of systems. As Electrification Systems Business Development Leader, you will own and drive the competitive sales development strategy across Power Conversion Electrification portfolio within key targeted Industrial, Commercial and Utilities segments in the Asia market. Role and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with GE Vernova PC regional commercial teams and other GE Vernova businesses to drive existing market share growth.
  • Develop c-suite relationships with key customers across the region and leverage the relationships developed by the existing GE Vernova electrification teams in Asia and globally.
  • Work with the Power Conversion global product teams, and engineering to position offerings that differentiate GE Vernova from the competition and drive profitable development of opportunities across the region.
  • Provide support to the Power Conversion regional sales team through education of Power Conversion electrification offerings.
  • Design and execute specific strategies needed to break-in and grow share across untapped segments or regions by:
    • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
    • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
    • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
    • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
    • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
    • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
    • Developing systems architectures & executing techno-economic studies
    • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
    • Developing goals for the commercial team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
    • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
  • Interface and liaison between the sales team and business to meet customer demands and influence.
  • Develop strong relationships with EPC, project developers, and investment institutions to drive orders and revenue growth while improving knowledge of covered segment drivers and value proposition.
  • Shape and craft value propositions for microgrid segments or regions.
  • Leverage SFDC to track customer and account activity, driving improved visibility.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering discipline or Business from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience in a commercial capacity (Sales, Commercial Operations, or Marketing) related to complex solutions rather than products.
  • Ability to develop and build relationships with senior industry leaders across the region and a capture team for long sales cycle complex projects.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Technical skills required to develop architectures, execute studies, create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities.
  • Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments.
