About the Role
Are you passionate about electronics and providing top-notch Electronic Equipment and systems support? As a key member of operations, you'll be instrumental in installing, maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting Electronic Equipment and systems used within the organisation. The role is to ensure that Electronic Equipment operates efficiently and safety and that any technical issues are promptly resolved to minimise downtime.
At ALOGIC, you’ll have the opportunity to be a key pillar in an agile organisation with minimal hierarchy, giving you the ability to play a major role in our company strategy and execution. As such, this position is best suited to motivate self-starters who can effectively manage their own priorities and keen to contribute their own ideas to the organisation.
Tasks
- Examining and testing machines, equipment, instruments and control systems to diagnose faults.
- Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and wiring, and maintaining machines, equipment and instruments.
- Reassembling, test operating and adjusting equipment.
- Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.
- Installing electronic instruments, electronic gates, Bluetooth systems.
- Install, maintain and repair security gate systems.
Skills and experience
Applicants will need to possess recent experience in Electrical or Mechatronics background with trade/diploma qualifications and at least two years of work experience in the industry along with.
- Good knowledge of concepts, principles and practices of electrical/mechanical systems.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to read and understand technical documentation, drawings, manuals and OEM guides.
- Working knowledge of diagnostic, mechanical and electrical tools and equipment.
- Able to service and support equipment, including mechanical, electrical and electronic repairs.
- Must be a team player.
- Registration or licensing may be required.
