Your Opportunity:
Control Unlimited is looking for a Part-Time/Casual Electronics Assembler to join a great team who love challenges and are dedicated to delivering quality workmanship to our customers all over Australia. This rare opportunity is open for an efficient and quality conscious individual with a genuine interest in electronics or agriculture.
This role involves assembly and testing of electronic equipment specific to the agricultural industry, and would suit an individual looking for approximately 2 days casual/part time work per week. The role may be suited to someone currently undertaking university studies or looking to gain experience in the electronics sector, opportunities for career advancement exist for the right applicant.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assembling electronic products in a safe & timely manner to meet production targets.
- Following assembly process instructions.
- Basic programming and settings file generation + setup new users to an online dashboard.
- Hand soldering electronic components - training provided.
- Performing quality inspections during the manufacturing process to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Testing all products using test fixtures and recording results.
- Assist in improving existing production procedures & processes.
- Assist with technical customer support queries as required.
Essential Attributes:
- Good manual dexterity.
- Ability to work to procedures/instructions.
- Ability to follow and carry out quality control inspections.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to work autonomously and in a team.
- Reliable and efficient.
Desirable Skills:
- Passion for electronics and/or agriculture.
- Understanding of electronic components.
- Hand-soldering skills.
- Experience carrying out electrical testing.
- An interest in improving production processes and efficiency.
On the job training is available to upskill you in required areas.
