This is your opportunity to join a top 50 medical device company and market leader in implantable hearing devices. We are now looking for a Manufacturing Operator to join our Brisbane team.
We now also offer Part time positions for Engineering students from year one onwards, applicants must be available to work a minimum three days a week.
As a Manufacturing Operator, you will play a vital role in completing manufacturing tasks for the Cochlear Implant System while meeting productivity and quality requirements.
You'll be working with a fantastic team at Cochlear's Brisbane operations on Helen Street in Newstead.
As we provide extensive on-the-job training and support to help you succeed in this role, candidates without manufacturing experience are welcome to apply and will be trained on the job.

Key Requirements:
You must have full working rights in Australia.
Engineering student in first or second year of university onwards are welcome to apply
Candidates on a visa must have at least 2 years remaining on the visa and have full unrestricted work rights (at least 22.8 hours a week).
We cannot offer sponsorship for temporary visa holders
Good written and verbal communication skills are essential as this role required diligently following verbal instructions as well as written documents that provides clear and precise steps to carry out different tasks.
Ability to follow processes and work within a team environment toward a common goal.
Ability to wear manufacturing garments to ensure manufacturing practices adhere to quality standards and ensure product safety. This includes but is not limited to the wearing of a mask, hood, gloves, finger stalls, hair net, coat/coverall, shoe covers and ESD strap.
Experience in manufacturing operator tasks (such as packing, testing, cleaning, washing etc) is ideal
You will be initially allocated on one of our fixed shift patterns. The shift times are:
Day shift - 6:24 am - 2:30 pm
Afternoon shift - 2:24 pm - 10:30pm
This role is located on 12 Helen St Teneriffe QLD 4005 please note onsite parking is not available.
