Electroplater required to join our client who are a world leading, high security printer of banknotes and passports. The position requirements include but are not limited to:
- Manufacture, refurbish, repair, engrave, electroform and chrome plate nickel intaglio printing plates
- Chemical, physical and metallurgic tests including solution preparation & analysis, and hardness testing
- Perform maintenance of tanks, anodes & solutions and calibration of tools and measuring devices
- Recognise & rectify process deviations and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Strictly following all required OH&S, quality and security procedures
- Qualifications in surface finishing, electroplating, or electroforming
- Proven experience in Electroforming, Electroplating & Chrome plating in an industrial printing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- A team player with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude is essential
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with a high attention to detail
- Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required
On Offer:
Hours: Day shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
Pay rate: $46.63 per hour + overtime + 12 RDO's + 12.5% super
