The RoleAre you an electrical tradesperson who is looking for a change?Working from our Alanvale campus in Launceston, the Electrotechnology Learning Support Tutor will play a key role in shaping the future of Tasmania's next generation of electrical tradespeople. This role supports our electrical delivery teams by providing tutoring support to students at TasTAFE.Our ideal candidate will light up the classroom and bring high-voltage enthusiasm and electrical expertise to our students through individual or small group face-to-face, email or online contact tutoring sessions.On any given day, your duties will include:
- Supporting the teaching staff to deliver successful student outcomes.
- Develop and maintain electrical learning materials and resources.
- Assist students to understand the practical application of their learning.
What will you bring- Electrical Trade qualification
- Experience in the Electrical industry, with a sufficient level of skills and knowledge to tutor students in theory and practical based tasks.
- A current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
