Based in Mentone, this successful company is a global leader in the design, development, manufacture, and distribution performance driven golf equipment and golf wearables, they are seeking Embroidery Assistants / specialists to join their day shift team. Hours are Monday 8am - 4.30pm and Tuesday to Friday 8am - 4pm.
Duties
- Perform embroidery on customer orders as requested for apparel and accessories
- Ensure embroidery specifications are followed accurately regarding, logo placement, thread colours and stitch quality.
- Sample and amend logos using Barudan Computer Software
- Ensure embroidery meets Acushnet quality standards
- Embroidery machine operation
- Basic machine maintenance
Skills and experience
- Have great attention to detail and the ability to provide a high standard of work
- Ability to use machines and tools such as needles, scissors, clippers, pliers etc.
- Use and understand measuring tolerances and perform basic math calculations
- Good visual sense
- Digitizing experience is highly desired
