A role with unique responsibilities
An Embryologist plays a crucial role in a patient’s journey. You are responsible for providing high quality embryology and andrology services. With exceptional service and care, you will directly enhance the patient experience. Under guidance from the Laboratory Supervisor, your responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent service and care to Monash IVF patients and clients
• Performing Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) procedures including Biopsy and ICSI
• Consistently meeting productivity, performance and compliance expectations
• Collaborating with others to achieve the Monash IVF Group Mission 

Are you the ideal candidate for us?
The ideal candidate will see their role as vital to the success of the organisation. Understanding there are ups and down in reproductive health, the Embryologist will be sensitive to the needs of patients and will endeavour to maintain a critical eye to detail and focus on patient outcomes.

To be considered for this opportunity, it is essential you bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in science or related field
• Previous experience in an Australian IVF laboratory
• Expertise in ICSI and/or Biospy 
• Australian working rights

Ideally you will bring the following:

• Postgraduate qualification relevant to the field is advantageous but not necessary
• Membership to a relevant professional body (i.e. FSA, SIRT)
• Knowledge of ART legislation and clinical protocols
• Knowledge of RTAC Code of Practice and all Industry compliance requirements
• Expertise in all clinical human embryology services (IVF, ICSI, embryo culture, cryopreservation and andrology) - favourable 
• Knowledge of Pathology practice and accreditation including NATA and AS ISO 15189-2013
• Pipetting and fine motor skills
• An orientation to focus on patient outcomes
• A critical eye for detail
• Well-developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Superior organisation and time management skills with proven ability to multitask
• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills
• A willingness to fit in and embrace the Monash IVF Group Principles: Care, Collaborate, Communicate, Commitment and Create.
