What you'll be doing
Selection Criteria
- Relevant qualifications in Pharmacy, including AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist, equivalent experience and a high-level clinical knowledge of therapeutics.
- Extensive experience in the NSW Health System, with detailed knowledge of clinical workflows across medication ordering, administration and dispensing process within the NSW Health setting.
- Experience with maintaining a medication formulary including researching new medications and their utility within the hospital setting.
- Knowledge and experience working with the Cerner applications and other electronic clinical information systems in the hospital setting.
- Ability to train clinical staff in the use of a Clinical IT Application/s.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills including prioritisation and time management.
- Demonstrated team player with a positive attitude who is self-motivated and who can effectively work with minimal supervision including the ability to work outside normal business hours when required (ie. On Call Support).
- Current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distance
