Position Summary
Emergency Medicine Physician
Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for a Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team.
The purpose of the role is to provide clinical leadership within the Latrobe Regional Hospital Emergency Department, through active patient assessment, support and leadership of junior medical staff, and co-ordination of patient management in collaboration with nursing staff and admitting inpatient units to achieve ED performance indicators and organisational targets.
Emergency Medicine Physicians require knowledge and experience in the broad practice of Emergency Medicine, including adult medicine, paediatrics, psychiatry, trauma, toxicology and the full range of emergencies encountered in various specialties.
