Global Medics is arranging interviews for an Emergency Medicine Registrar to join the team at a major provider of health service in Queensland. You will be working as part of a highly experienced, professional, and enthusiastic team of Specialists, JMO's and nursing staff providing emergency care.
In the position of ED - Registrar you will be expected to participate in the provision of high-level emergency clinical services and ensure that safe, high quality, patient centred care is provided. You will be supported and encourage to expand your education and training in Emergency Medicine and become an important member of a dynamic and passionate Emergency Medicine team.
The Emergency Department treats 200+ patients per day allowing staff to obtain experience across a broad range of cases.
About you:
Your success in this role will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Ideal candidates will be those who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated ability to provide high quality medical care to patients in an emergency together with knowledge of current Emergency Medicine treatments and protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary health care team.
- Demonstrated high level written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and train junior staff.
- Ability to provide clinical education and support.
