Emergency Medicine team on a Permanent Full-Time or Part-Time basis.Health ServiceMackay Base Hospital is a 236-bed regional hospital that services 10 rural hospitals and multi-purpose health facilities across the Mackay Isaac Whitsunday region. Mackay HHS is embarking on an exciting period of growth with a $250m redevelopment of the base hospital to provide an additional 112 inpatient beds and an expansion of outpatient and support services. Significant upgrades are also underway at rural hospitals in Bowen, Moranbah, Proserpine and Clermont.
The LocationMackay provides relaxed and comfortable rural and coastal living opportunities, only an hour flight from Brisbane and a short distance to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. The tropical climate is ideal for outdoor living with beautiful beaches and a spectacular natural environment nearby. Families are well serviced by a choice of high quality schools and a wide range of sporting clubs with excellent facilities.
Essential Criteria- Mandatory possession of an approved medicine degree from a registered tertiary institution and;
- General and Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory authority (Medical Board of Australia), and;
- Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship of the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine.
The Package- Total remuneration value of up to $392,360 (L14) is comprised of: A salary between $176.802 - $182,330 (L13-L14)
- Total remuneration value of up to $537,639 (L24) is comprised of: A salary between $204,206 - $237,196 (L18-L24)
- Total remuneration value of up to $587,432 (L27) is comprised of: A salary between $244,201 - $258,910 (L25-L27)
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading is paid for 4 weeks leave
- Generous Salary Sacrificing (conditions apply)
- Professional Development Leave 3.6 weeks p.a.
- Professional Development Allowance ($21,500 p.a.)
- Motor Vehicle Allowance
- Over-time and on-call allowances
- Attraction and Retention Incentive Allowance (Granted Private Practice arrangements)
