Job description

Bayside Physiotherapy & Podiatry Department are looking for an Advanced Clinical, Emergency Physiotherapy Practitioner to join their team. This exciting role will be responsible for providing advanced musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinical services to stakeholders/consumers within the Bayside Health Service to achieve excellence in patient care, education and research.

About the Role

  • Deliver specialised musculoskeletal physiotherapy clinical and consultancy services to emergency and primary care services within Bayside Health Service in accordance with accepted professional practices, legal and ethical requirements with a high degree of independence.
  • Provide clinical advice and direction to a team of Physiotherapists to ensure effective service delivery and quality outcomes applying change management, conflict resolution and negotiation skills where necessary.
  • Develop, monitor and report on clinical practices and professional service outcomes for the emergency and primary care physiotherapy service through the collection, analysis and reporting of relevant data, key performance indicators and outcome measures.
  • Demonstrate clinical leadership and expertise obtained through significant professional development activities, post graduate education or formal qualifications and actively pursues development and learning opportunities, including contribution to training of Physiotherapists on extended scope pathways and other health professionals.
