Reporting to the Health, Safety and Training Manager, you will develop, implement, and monitor the mines' emergency preparedness and response systems to ensure a safe work environment for all employees by:
- Ensuring dust sampling in completed in accordance with site and legislative requirements.
- Ensuring all Emergency Response equipment installation and maintenance is implemented in accordance with the site Emergency Preparedness Plan and relevant OEM requirements.
- Preparing and managing simulated emergency exercises.
- Coordinating Emergency Response and fire refresher training for site personnel.
- Maintaining core details of Mine Rescue Team Members and monitoring coverage of First Aid qualified personnel across shifts and crews.
