The People and Diversity team have an exciting opening for an Employee Experience Coordinator (EECO) to join their cohesive and supportive team.

Operating under broad guidance from the Team Leader, People Services, the successful candidate will be instrumental in providing ongoing support and advice to employees and focus on staff satisfaction, motivation and retention through delivery of a positive Employee Experience.

The EECO works closely with internal People & Diversity teams as well as hiring managers and key administration staff across the university ensuring the delivery of exceptional and dependable services to employees throughout their tenure at UC.

The EECOs day-to-day responsibilities entail:

  • Being a first point of contact for new employees and providing a welcoming experience,
  • Delivering high-quality onboarding and induction,
  • Developing an excellent understanding of the University’s Enterprise Agreement and P&D policies to advise employees on their employment conditions,
  • Engaging employees in career development discussions,
  • Working with managers to provide support to employees returning to work from personal injury,
  • Designing and delivering presentations and workshops
  • Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with a range of key stakeholders across the University,

To be successful in this role you will have natural interest in building and retaining various stakeholder relationships. You will thrive off the opportunity to be able to handle day to day matters autonomously, whilst being flexible in your approach, proactive, resilient and have excellent judgement.
