About our Opportunity
Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a dedicated People & Culture (P&C) Support Officer to play a lead role in the P&C Support Services Team. The P&C Support Officer will provide high quality professional, effective and confidential HR administration activities to the business while providing guidance and support to other Support Services team members.
More specifically you will:
- Lead, coordinate and action HR transactional processes related to the onboarding, internal movements and offboarding of all team members
- Support the team to ensure compliance of all requested administrative tasks and agreed Service Level Agreement timeframes are met
- Work collaboratively with the wider P&C Team including P & C Business Partners, Payroll, Talent Acquisition and people leaders to ensure employee changes are captured and actioned across AU, NZ and other regional business areas
- Support the wider P&C Team to complete administration and coordination tasks related to employee lifecycle activities including organisational development and talent management
- Identify and analyse gaps in current people and culture processes and system data. Work with the wider P&C team to implement solutions to drive continuous improvement and improved employee experience/service offering
- Ensure reporting associated with any systems is completed on time and provide meaningful insights
- Lead the administration and coordination support for ad hoc P&C projects and initiatives
About You
As the successful applicant, you will have:
- Diploma of Human Resources Management/Administration or experience in a similar role
- At least 2 years of HR coordination/administration experience
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Proven understanding of human resources principles in relation to the employee lifecycle
- Solid experience and understanding of application of Modern Awards and other relevant employment legislation including Fair Work standards
- Excellent communication skills, can convey information clearly and concisely in both verbal and written forms
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and understand the importance of investigating all relevant information and facts to identify best outcomes
- High attention to detail, performs tasks with care and checks work to ensure accuracy and completeness
