Employee Branding Specialist opportunity

  • Approx. $70-$80 per hour plus Super dependent on experience
  • Full-time, 6-month contract. January 2024
  • Melbourne CBD location/Working from Home Arrangement
About the role
Government agency seeks an experienced Employee Branding Specialist to join them on a full-time, 6-month contract until 30 June 2024. As the Employee Branding Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that highlight the Employee Value Proposition (EVP), as well as create and execute the delivery of a talent roadshow enhancing the organisation's brand as an employer of choice.
Key duties
Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to understand the current employee experience and identify key differentiators that set the organisation apart as an employer of choice.
  • Develop EVP strategies aligned with the organisation's culture, mission, and values, emphasizing career growth, work-life balance, and unique opportunities.
  • Craft compelling messaging and content that effectively communicates the EVP to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Design, plan, and execute a talent roadshow showcasing the organisation's EVP and career opportunities, including determining locations, schedules, and content.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create engaging presentations, workshops, and interactive sessions that highlight the benefits of working for the organisation.
  • Manage logistics, invitations, and participant engagement to ensure a seamless and impactful event.
Experience and Skills
The skills and experience you will need to demonstrate include:
  • Demonstrable experience in Employer Branding, EVP development, talent acquisition, or related fields.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills including the ability to write for a range of audiences and media.
  • Proficiency in utilising various communication and social media platforms for Employer Branding purposes.
  • Ability to manage competing demands and use time constructively to punch through the work while maintaining quality.
  • Ability to write well-thought out and articulate key messages, and coherent and robust communications plans.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field e.g. Human Resources, Communications, or a related field or extensive experience as an Employer Branding Specialist.
