Form of workIn this rewarding role, your purpose will be to provide a range of individual and/or group-based transition to work programs and supports to NDIS participants. These programs encourage and increase community engagement, economic participation and increased capacity to reach employment goals and aspirations.
We’ve helped many people build their capacity and confidence to successfully prepare for the workforce and you can too!
In this role you’ll be mentoring young adults to prepare for work and gain real world experience.
In the Mackay region you’ll be:
- Helping to build capacity One-on-One and in groups.
- Supporting the transition to employment readiness.
- Establishing and following person-centred planning.
- Working across office, library, community and worksites.
What you will need:
- Disability support work experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and with initiative.
- C class driving license and access to a vehicle.
- NDIS clearance and blue card (we can help).
- Current First Aid and CPR (not required to apply).

- Permanent part-time, minimum 60hrs/fortnight.

- Mon to Fri between 8.30am - 4.30pm shifts.
- SCHADS 2.1 $32.21 per hour.
