About the role
Applications are invited from Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated and friendly team in Yandilla. Yandilla ward covers Midwifery, Paediatric & General Medical/Surgical.
These permanent full or part time positions are available for an immediate start and include working a rotating 7 day, 24 hour roster (AM, PM & ND). This position involves providing person centred nursing care to a diverse range of patients in line with the guidelines, policies and objectives of the Clinical Services division of Grampians Health - Horsham & Dimboola Campuses.
Skills and experience
Key Selection Criteria include:
Essential:
- Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with experience
- Demonstrated organisational skills particularly with respect to time management
- Demonstrated ability to contribute and practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, residents, visitors and staff at all levels within the organisation
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development
- Demonstrated ability to use Information Communications Technology
- Current knowledge and understanding of acute patient centred care
- Demonstrated knowledge of and involvement in evidence-based practice and research activities
- Minimum of 2 years post-basic experience within an acute nursing care environment
- Previous experience in acute medical / surgical care
