The Mater Private Hospital Mackay currently has exciting opportunities available for Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our team in either permanent full-time or part time capacity in Emergency.
Salary range: $34.84 - $37.10 (EN) per hour plus superannuation and salary packaging
What you’ll be doing
As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you will provide patient-centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse on duty. Core responsibilities include supporting patients in the activities of daily living, assisting in meeting basic human needs, and recognising the normal and abnormal assessment, intervention and evaluation of patient health and functional status with ongoing communication with the Registered Nurse.
About you
Ideally, you will have prior nursing experience, but new graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered.
You will also have:
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (no restrictions)
- Prior experience in medication management
- Be able to manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and recognise priority tasks
- Ability to within a multi-disciplinary team environment with a focus on exceptional patient-centred care and customer service
- Digital and computer proficiency
- Able to be rostered over seven days a week for day, afternoon and night shifts
