Key responsibilities include:
- Provide system administration services and activities in an enterprise environment to external and internal customers to agreed client service levels.
- Provide technical skills to projects and programs of work undertaken by the team, including the on-boarding of customers, new architecture solutions, and research into the applicability of new and emerging technologies.
- Work cohesively in a team of technical specialists in identifying risks and opportunities for improvement in management infrastructure, tools and procedures, and contribute to agreed improvement activities and risk treatment strategies.
- Participate in pre-sales activities as a technical resource by assisting in the design and delivery of solutions, contributing to bids and the development of opportunities.
- Establish positive relationships with team members, other colleagues and stakeholders and respond to customer needs and expectations.

To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Experience in performing system administration activities in an enterprise environment. Refer Technical Skillsets for specific technologies.
- Proven success in the translation of business requirements into effective solutions, including significant experience in problem resolution within complex IT infrastructure and business environments.
- Demonstrate experience in providing effective systems administration, management and enhancement services to clients with reliability in meeting agreed deadlines and commitments.
- Demonstrate experience working in accordance with organisational processes and constraints, as well as taking responsibility for accuracy, self-evaluating and seeking feedback.
- Clear, effective and proactive communication with a range of stakeholders in an environment that deals with complex infrastructure architecture and a complex customer base.
Technical Skillsets
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft E5 products such as Windows Defender and Entra ID.
- Demonstrated technical experience of Active Directory (especially Group Policy Management).
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Modern Device Management.
- Scripting experience (PowerShell preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in ITSM/ITIL including change, incident, and problem management using an enterprise ITSM tool such as ServiceNow
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) including SCCM and Intune.
- Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and application packaging.
- Provide maintenance and enhancements of deployed desktop operating system images (physical and virtual).

Microsoft Windows endpoint management, both in Modern (Entra ID/ Intune) and Classic (Hybrid/MECM) forms, complimented by Microsoft 365 tenant management are new service offerings that CITEC intends to deliver to Government.
CITEC operates a 24/7 environment, and this role may be required to work after hours and participate in on-call arrangements. Additionally, the role may require travel within the State of Queensland from time to time.
Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
