As an Energy Portfolio Investment Lead, you will be a key driver in identifying, evaluating, and managing energy infrastructure investment opportunities. Your expertise will ensure the success of our client's portfolio, driving financial growth and sustainable impact.
Key Responsibilities:

• Investment Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial and risk analysis for potential energy infrastructure investments, including modeling financial projections, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing.
• Due Diligence Leadership: Lead due diligence processes, collaborating with technical, legal, and financial experts to evaluate technical feasibility, regulatory compliance, contractual terms, and financial performance.
• Portfolio Management: Oversee the performance of energy assets within the portfolio, utilizing financial models to monitor cash flows, operational metrics, and key performance indicators.
• Market Insights: Stay abreast of energy market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements. Utilize these insights to inform investment strategies and decisions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and technical consultants to ensure effective project development and management.
• Investment Modeling: Develop sophisticated financial models to assess investment opportunities, incorporating variables such as financing structures, revenue streams, operating costs, and capital expenditures.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks associated with investments and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring optimal project outcomes.
• Reports and Recommendations: Provide detailed investment recommendations, including financial feasibility assessments, risk profiles, and strategic insights, to guide investment committee decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
• Proven experience in energy infrastructure investment, project finance, or related roles.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex financial and technical data.
• In-depth knowledge of energy markets, trends, regulatory frameworks, and financial models.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk assessment.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage intricate investment processes.
