The Teaching and Learning Engagement and Implementation Coordinator is responsible for leading the engagement of internal and external stakeholders regarding changes to teaching and learning practices, as a result of projects and initiatives undertaken by Academic Development. The role involves the provision of expert advice and support to facilitate adoption and Implementation of teaching and learning processes and practices across business units to support technology enhanced learning methodologies.Key outcomes of the role include:
  • The planning, leading and undertaking of activities to support the implementation of Teaching and Learning initiatives.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for coordination and development of resources and materials for education staff that support the adoption of technology enhanced learning methodologies across TAFE SA.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in Planning and leading in person or online engagement activities with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Developing resources that support development of skills needed to change practice.
  • Being able to apply student-centred learning pedagogy in technology enhanced teaching methodologies and easily adapt and manage competing timeframes associated with project management methodologies in a high performing team.

The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
  • Out of hours work will be required.
  • Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required.
  • Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Development Program.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.
