SalaryOur large Federal Government client has a requirement for an Engagement and Requirements Officer, holding current TSPV clearance.
This role will include Stakeholder identification and engagement, requirements mapping and the provision of a written report over the course of 6-8 weeks. They are seeking assistance from an experienced Requirements Definition and Management or Demand Management Officer with a 'surge' on customer engagement, customer mapping and needs analysis. Someone who can develop a rapid 'surge' engagement plan and then implement the plan, identify and engage Stakeholders in order to collect key information about objectives and business practices.Major Responsibilities:
- The ability to design and implement a stakeholder mapping and engagement program including identification and engagement with stakeholders not identified at the start.
- Familiarity with the National Intelligence Community and its missions and capabilities would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Clear and concise communication that can be tailored to business and technical stakeholder groups, internal and external to the organisation.
- Ability to understand strategic and operational requirements.
- Ability to adapt to an evolving requirements and governance model and changes in key external stakeholders.
- It is essential that the successful applicant have relevant experience in either Requirements Definition and Management or Demand Management, preferably in an intelligence context.
- Demonstrates leadership. Communicates effectively, both formally and informally.
- Facilitates collaboration between Stakeholders who have diverse objectives.
- Analyses, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets. Analyses requirements and advises on scope and options for continuous operational improvement. Takes all requirements into account when making proposals. Demonstrates creativity, innovation and ethical thinking in applying solutions for the benefit of the customer/stakeholders.
- Advises on the available standards, methods, tools and applications relevant to own specialism and can make appropriate choices from alternatives.
- Maintains an awareness of developments in the industry. Takes initiative to keep skills up to date. Mentors colleagues.
- Assesses and evaluates risk.
Location: Canberra, ACT or any other location as determined by the Commonwealth.
SFIA level required: The Specified Person will be expected to demonstrate attributes of SFIA Level of Responsibility 5.
Security Requirements: To be eligible, you must be an Australian Citizen and hold current Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance is strongly preferred, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered.How to Apply:
