Our client is a global leader in biotechnology, developing and delivering innovative therapies for rare and serious diseases. Based at Broadmeadows, Melbourne, they currently have 2 contract roles available for Engineers with experience in project delivery
The successful candidate will be responsible for self driven delivery of the process equipment project scope to completion and will have prior experience with commissioning /qualification.
Key responsibilities
- Project engineering work within the facility at Broadmeadows
- Responsible for defined set of equipment, eg vessels, parts washer – will own for the remainder of commissioning and qualification phase of project
- Start up piece of equipment, verify installation, ensure built to specifications as per drawings
- Mechanical installation component
- Functional commissioning component – step machine through recipes
- Then move to qualification phase , verifying protocols (this will part will run for 4-5 months)
- Assist with support of transition to operations
Qualification and experience
- Strong engineering skills, understand concepts of P&IDs, verifying installation
- Commissioning and Qualification experience with an understanding of how process operates (similar project experience)
- Functional testing experience
- Ideally Pharma experience (food and beverage industry experience also considered)
- Pay-rate negotiable and depends on experience – up to $60/ hr plus superannuation
