- Residential in Karratha/Dampier or FIFO from Perth
- Provide engineering support for the planning and execution of rail replacement and destressing activities;
- Ensure compliance with Engineering Standards and Procedures and ensure that appropriate controls are in place to manage risk;
- Review re-rail and destress scopes to ensure technical requirements are met;
- Assess and action changes to plan considering risk and business impact;
- Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections and measurements;
- Track planned v actual re-rail & destress volumes, providing updates to the business through weekly reports;
- Verify and update asset information in RTIO rail asset management systems to reflect work completed, asset condition, and business risk;
- Review maintenance processes and procedures to reduce defects and improve work practices, productivity, safety, and asset performance.
- Tertiary qualification or higher in either Mechanical or Civil engineering
- Previous experience in a rail desirable
- Understanding of Railway Track Engineering concepts and principles
- Manual C Class drivers' license
