We are currently looking for our next legend - a Project Engineer.
This position will work in our Operations Department and report to a Senior Project Manager. The position will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting and supporting the Senior Project Manager with project management and the day-to-day delivery of projects on site;
- Setting up and administering projects in the construction management system;
- Identifying and summarising technical information from specifications and drawings;
- Developing and monitoring project timelines and construction programs;
- Developing and monitoring project budgets including income and expenditure and providing project reporting;
- Obtaining quotations from suppliers, managing procurement, and administering purchase orders;
- Engaging with and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships;
- Communicating with clients to ensure contractual obligations are met;
- Providing technical advice to relevant stakeholders;
- Ensuring safety and quality compliance documentation is up to date.
Our perfect candidate will have:
- A tertiary qualification in engineering;
- 2-5 years of experience in a civil construction project environment;
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office and project management software, including Microsoft Project;
- Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic work environment with shifting priorities;
- Excellent project planning, multi-tasking, and time management skills;
- Strong understanding and passion for mountain biking, trail infrastructure construction, and associated industry practices (highly desirable).
Our preference is that this position works from our office in Margaret River. We may consider a remote or hybrid arrangement for the right person.
