CURATING ORIGINALITY TAKES TALENT
W Brisbane located at 81 N Quay, Brisbane City QLD 4000 is hiring an Engineering Handyperson. You will play an integral role in the ongoing maintenance of the Hotel so the right candidate will have a diverse skill set. Responsibilities range from conducting a variety of duties from repairs, upkeep of the building structure, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, fixtures, fittings, and equipment. In addition, you will;
- Carry out all tasks, guided by the work request system and as requested by guests and Talent
- Ensure all tasks are performed with urgency and in the safest manner possible
- Perform regular plant, equipment, and water quality checks, and complete logs accurately
- Assist in managing third party contractors
- Maintain adequate stock levels of supplies and equipment and order as required
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Workplace Health & Safety and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, and related Hotel policies
- Anticipate guest's needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service
