We are seeking a People Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for supporting our significant growth and ensuring an exceptional employee experience across the SafetyCulture Group. Here, you're not only supporting the development of our people; you're actively shaping and enhancing our culture as we scale.As a People Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and improving our people processes to support the lifecycle of our employees. You will spend approximately 70% of your time on core operational duties, such as managing our HR service desk and handling cyclical HR processes. The remaining 30% will be dedicated to project work aimed at evolving and scaling our employee experience.How you will spend your time:
- HR Service Desk Management: Act as the first line of support for all HR-related queries, including triaging, resolving, or escalating tickets as necessary.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Ensure a seamless experience during crucial touchpoints such as onboarding, offboarding, and promotions. This includes preparing relevant paperwork and making necessary system updates.
- Data Management: Maintain and conduct regular audits of employee data in our HR Information System (HRIS) to support data-driven decision-making.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong partnerships with key internal stakeholders (Talent Acquisition, People Partners, IT, Finance, Legal, etc.) to enhance the overall employee experience.
- Continuous Improvement: Bring a continuous improvement mindset to refine and evolve existing people processes and policies.
- Project Participation: Engage in strategic projects that aim to scale and enhance the employee experience as we grow.
- At least 2 years in a People Operations or similar role, with an understanding of HR practices.
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service and manage sensitive employee touch points effectively.
- Capable of working with precision and pace in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
