Location:
This role is Sydney based with a requirement from time to time to perform FIFO or DIDO roles outside of the Sydney region. Jurovich Surveying operate across all fields of surveying and require the right person to assist with the variety of work.
Job Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Surveying professionals for our NSW team who are interested in a primarily metro-based role, with the possibility for FIFO/DIDO to regional areas from time to time. This position focuses on engineering surveying, requiring flexibility to meet project demands. You will interact with clients and subcontractors, ensure timely project delivery, and maintain high safety standards. Excellent time management, communication skills, and a positive team attitude are essential.
What You Need to Succeed:
- A relevant surveying qualification (Advanced Diploma, Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
- 2+ years of surveying experience (desirable but not essential).
- Australian residency and the right to work in Australia.
- Valid unrestricted Australian driver’s licence (Manual).
- Experience with Leica equipment and 12d Field.
- Cadastral experience desirable but not essential.
- Scanning and UAV experience desirable but not essential
- Experience working in the engineering and construction industry including multi story developments desirable but not essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site surveys and fieldwork.
- Advise stakeholders on survey-related matters.
- Perform site-related calculations and data management.
- Document and report fieldwork to stakeholders.
- Supervise and train junior staff as needed.
