Role Snap Shot
Due to a growing client base on a range of major Infrastructure Projects, we are seeking an Engineering Surveyor to join our Infrastructure Survey team.
You will be a technically competent field Surveyor with demonstrated office-based skills. Being well-versed in engineering survey practices and having worked in a consultancy environment you will hit the ground running in one of these busy roles.
How You Will Contribute
This is a field based role with some office responsibilities, therefore knowledge and experience in the following is required:
- Undertaking surveying field tasks such as use of GPS and Total Station, establishment of control networks and completion of feature surveys;
- Utilise advanced survey techniques to deliver solutions for a range of projects including; Feature & Level surveys, Set-out surveys, As-constructed surveys, Mobile Laser Scanning Surveys and Terrestrial Laser Scanning Surveys;
- Complete data reductions and draft plans in a range of scanning and modelling software packages;
- Consult with engineers, government authorities and other involved parties to obtain information relevant to project completion as required
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Recognised qualification in surveying (not essential);
- Knowledge of survey technologies including robotic total stations, GPS, terrestrial
- Ability to manage time efficiently to plan, prioritise and produce high quality work to meet deadlines;
- Ability to liaise with a wide variety of people, including government bodies, consultants, developers and clients.
