Engineering Surveyor -Scanning And Drones

Our growing client list include leading residential builders, industrial and commercial development companies, government and urban land authorities, developers, construction companies and architects.
As our Queensland survey team is growing, we are looking for an experienced Surveyor with focus on Scanning and Drones survey, who will be responsible for ensuring precision and accuracy in all surveying activities. You will work in a dynamic environment where your skills and expertise can make a significant impact. This is a full-time role based out of our Upper Mount Gravatt office.
Your role will include, but will not be limited to:

• Using a combination of CAD, Terramodel and various other software systems undertaking the survey computation requirements for work
• Maintaining technical standards
• Computations and data processing
• Liaising with and attending to client's needs, advising / consulting on surveying issues

You will need to have:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience and proven background in engineering Surveying
• Completed tertiary qualification in Surveying, Certificate IV as minimum
• Prepared to learn and excel on projects under the guidance of the senior leadership team
• Experience with Leica and Faro scanners (desirable)
• Proficient with Trimble Robotic Total Stations & GPS (desirable)
• Experience with Terramodel and Trimble Business Centre (desirable)
• Remote pilot license (RePL) and drone experience will be advantageous, otherwise the training will be provided
• Excellent verbal communication and inter-personal skills
• Be self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Excellent time management skills and high attention to detail
