We are looking for an energetic Engineering Technologist professional. The selected candidate will be expected to work independently and as a member of a team to provide technical support wherever needed.

Key Duties

• Acceptance of new equipment to ensure the normal operation of equipment and adjust or correct operating problems if necessary
• Provide engineering assistance to ensure technical procedures are properly implemented according to troubleshooting and maintenance process
• Analyse and evaluate equipment faults and defects to determine root-cause and apply appropriate maintenance measures according to technical specifications
• Plan repair and maintenance schedules that comply with standard completion times

• Document all requirements including drafting specifications, machinery plans and modifications necessary to be made to ensure required outcome is achieved
• Prepare technical documentation in clear and concise terms in accordance with good engineering practice
• Makes recommendations on how to improve existing technologies

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Have excellent problem solving abilities
• Demonstrated analytical abilities and the ability to work in a team
• Fast learner who understands and apply new knowledge and techniques
