AddressFTI Group Pty Ltd is an Australian owned company operating in the prefabricated and preformed formwork industry. We strive every day to make our customers’ builds faster, simpler and safer and design and manufacture every product in our Australian factory. Our Fast Tread stairs and other prefabricated formwork systems now feature in over 1,000 buildings, including many landmark ones, across Australia and internationally.
We are now seeking for a full-time Engineering Technologist to join our team in Goulburn.
Your duties will include:
- Analysing existing engineering technologies and meet requirements of engineering projects.
- Making recommendations on how to improve existing technologies including Lantek CNC Programming to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Creating new CNC programs including writing new parametric files
- Running new technology through testing procedures and notes findings
- Preparing drawings of new CAD technologies including interpreting into a CNC program that machines can read to create the required Sheetmetal parts.
- Creating and managing a database of drawings
- Working closely with production department to streamline operations and ensure seamless communication between design and manufacturing teams.
- Assessing engineering projects in detail to ensure project requirements have been met in full and in compliance with the relevant industry standards.

• Relevant tertiary qualifications at Bachelor level or higher
• At least 2 years of work experience in the field
• Have a high attention to detail
• Strong safety focused work ethic
The salary for the role is between $70,000 - $75,000, dependent on experience.
