Engineering Technologist – Food ProductionOur client is one of South Australian family owned and operated business that crafts and sells a range of premium Italian style fresh cheese, The company is looking for a highly motivated Engineering Technologist to complement their engineering team. Your role would include

• contributing to production escalations using best practice problem solving and monitor the implementation of recommendations
• developing, testing and implementing new and existing technologies and machinery (with an electronic and electrical bias)
• developing and reviewing standard operating procedures and supporting training in same
• developing quality control procedures to resolve production problems and maximize efficiency
• analyzing production data and equipment to identify areas for improvement
• ensuring strict adherence to food safety standards
• maintaining safe work practices
• working with key internal and external stakeholders to effectively support production.
• Be a proactive team member of the engineering production team.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced food manufacturing and production environment. The person who will be best suited for this position should be able to show us:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
• 4 years experience will be highly regarded
• Formal training in systems, process, or manufacturing engineering and design would be highly regarded
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and experience with working in a quality-controlled environment
• Strong problem-solving and team working skills
• Strong analytical skills.

Salary $60,000-$65,000 per annum superannuation depending on experience.
