THE ROLE
Applications are sought from experienced Underground Mine Engineers to join the team at Ora Banda.
The responsibilities of this role will include:
- Ensure that all activities are carried out to the highest standard of safety in accordance with Company policies and workplace safety and environmental regulations.
- Design drill and blast patterns.
- Complete mine designs, plans and schedules in a timely manner and ensure they are effectively communicated and implemented.
- Monitor mining contractor performance to ensure that mining activities are aligned with plan and schedule.
- Prepare technical reports as required.
- Assist in the development and implementation of technical procedures and systems.
- Perform engineering work to a high technical standard.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or related discipline
- Experience performing a similar role for an underground mining operation
- Understanding of relevant mining and safety legislation and regulations
- Be a Competent user of mining industry software (preferably Deswik)
- WA Manual drivers license
